In 1964 the muscle car era began when Pontiac put a big engine in a mid-size car, and the GTO was born. In 1964 the GTO was a trim level on the Lemans series cars, and didn't become its own model until the 1966 model year.This GTO sports silver mist paint and red vinyl bucket seats . Standard equipped with a 389 cubic in engine...this car came with the Tri-Power option putting out 348 horsepower and Safe-T-Track rear end. The factory 4 speed has been upgraded to a new Tremec 5 speed manual transmission. Factory dual exhaust with correct chrome tips, new red line tires, iconic Crager wheels, but have original wheel covers and red line tires as an option for purchase, and new suspension to give it the original stance and make it enjoyable to cruise in.
