Description

The 1956 Bel Air was restyled with a face lift with a full width grill, and a lot more chrome. Gm called it the HOT-ROD in their advertising due to more horsepower. This 1956 Bel Air convertible certainly fits that statement. It is powered by what appears to be a period correct 265 small block V-8 with 2 four barrel carburetors, a Bat Wing air cleaner. and a 3 speed column shift manual transmission. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power top (works), and an after market AM/FM radio with cassette. This is a very solid, Tri-Five convertible. 1956 was also the first year for the hidden gas cap behind the left tail light assembly. The classic two tone paint is very attractive, done in Adobe Beige and Sierra Gold. The beautiful bumpers, full size grill, and the stainless work are all in excellent condition. Interior has been redone in the correct colors. Also comes with optional fender skirts , full hub caps and finished off with beautiful wide white walls. A great investment to drop the top on a sunny day and enjoy for many miles of fun.
