Description

Just Arrived. 1953 Bel Air Resto-Mod. This is a very nicely done updated example of a Chevy's top of the line model for 1953. The body on this early BelAir is very straight with no filler. Chrome is excellent all the way around and the bright work is shinny with no dents or bends. Paint is a black metal flake on the bottom and a silver gray on the roof and Bel Air trim insert, and is in excellent condition with no chips or dents. Power is by the way of a rebuilt 454 with only about 30,000 miles on it. Putting that power to the wheels is a 700 R4 plus automatic transmission. The car comes equipped with , not only power brakes, but power steering with tilt wheel, and is outfitted with a new RideTech suspension at all four wheels, and stopping power is provided by power front disc and rear drum brakes. There are 2'' drop spindles that give this BelAir a great looking aggressive stance. Adding to that look are 225/55 ZR16 front tires and 245/50 ZR16 rears. The front end is a 2nd gen Camaro and the rear is from Chris Alston's Chassis Works. Two electric fans provide additional cooling for the big 454. Inside is a retro radio that fits into custom created, but original looking, opening...it has all the auxillary hookups for today's modern technology...wires are in the glove box so you don't see them hanging down. The interior is new and looks period correct. This is a turn key car that you will feel confident driving anywhere.
