Description

Camaro was the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 in 1969. Chevrolet built 3,675 pace car replicas of the pace car under RPO Z11. This beautiful example is a true Z11 car...not a clone or tribute. It is a numbers matching example that has been pampered over the years with only 42,000 miles on the odometer. All Z11s were SS Rally Sport Convertibles with RPO 911 Dover White exteriors, orange hounds tooth cloth seats, custom interiors, orange striping, white body sills and rear panels, Rally Wheels and Cowl Induction hoods. This car is additionally equipped with options that made it match the actual pace cars, with the exception of a power top. The D55 console, G80 posi-traction, M40 Turbo Hydra-matic, N40 power steering, U17 instrumentation cluster, D80 spoiler, N34 wood grain steering wheel, and A01 Soft Ray tinted glass. The radio was upgraded to the U69 AM/FM radio. This car has just had $4,000 worth of work done replacing mufflers, complete front brakes, fuel pump, carb, steering box, body mounts and rear brake lines. If you're looking for one of the nicest true Z11 cars with an automatic, this is the one for you. CALL ME !!
