Vehicle Description
1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary Limited Edition, Y72, T-top car with only 6748 actual, original miles. 6.6, 400 Pontiac motor and this one is a M21 close ratio "4-Speed " with A/C, 8 Track tape player, J65 4 wheel power disc brakes and All the paperwork. (see photos below)
We bought this T/A from the original owner who had ALL the paperwork, I mean EVERYTHING. Original window sticker, build sheet, original title, purchase agreement, dealer invoice, loan documents, Insurance documents, original keys with the chips, owners manual, warannty info, spare tire info, radio info and even the seat belt info that came on the viser of the car.
This car appears just the way it came off the line in 79. These cars had alot of bare metal parts on the underneath of the car and they are subject to rust discolorization but there is by no means ANY rust issues on the underside of this car and no undercoating. Its Original and they're only Original once. The paint shows well as does the body. The Silver interior is factory fresh and still has the new smell to it.
This car was gone through by our shop and all components were checked and everything works as it should.
This T/A runs and drives like 1979. Great for the collector or the enthusiast.
