1977 Chevrolet El Camino Classic
The El Camino, first introduced in 1959, was Chevy's answer to the Ford Ranchero. They were pruduced for the '59-'60 model years and then disappeared until 1964. Reappearing in the '64 model year, the El Camino remained in production until 1987.
You're viewing a 4th generation, 1977, example of Chevrolet's "coupe utility". It is powered by a 350 cu in V-8 and a 3 speed Turbo-Hydromatic automatic transmission. This is not a restored vehicle, but it shows quite well for a thirty seven year old car. The interior shows only a minimum of fading and there's one minor burn mark on the front seat.
The body is solid. Mechanically, the car runs and drives as it did in 1977. Here's a chance to own one of Chevy's iconoc cars and not break the bank.
